How to Build Stronger Arms Through Yoga

Most women as they get older have probably noticed that their upper arms begin to sag. I noticed it whenever I would wave to someone and realized that the my upper arm flab was waving right along with me. All of you women who have the same problem are probably thinking the same thing and no longer want to wear sleeveless garments. You have probably never thought about the fact that there are several yoga techniques that can tone and strengthen your arms. If you are a yoga enthusiasts then you are probably of the mindset that yoga may be inadequate when it comes to building arm strength. And if you are such a person then realize that nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact yoga is fantastic for building arm strength. Of course you may never see your biceps bulge through your T-shirt sleeves but then most women just want toned arms and not looking to build large arm muscles.  The following video is a great example of using yoga for arms.

Some basic Calisthenics such as Push-ups, the Plank and the Dive-bombers borrow heavily from Yoga. If someone is wanting to increase strength in the arms through Yoga, then the best exercises to focus on would be the Sun Salutations.
